Description

‘The King’ signs a 1956 portrait ‘To my number one ‘Booster’

Handsome vintage glossy 7 x 9 (possibly trimmed) head-and-shoulders photo of a young Presley in a jacket and tie, taken in 1956, beautifully signed in fountain pen “To my number one ‘Booster’ my many thanks, Sincerely, Elvis Presley.” Removably double suede matted by its corner tips, with a small name plaque, and framed to an overall size of 14 x 19.5. A couple light diagonal creases through portion of signature and inscription, some surface dings and impressions to right side of facial area, small tack hole to lower right corner tip, and light surface impressions along top edge from notation on reverse, otherwise fine condition. A perfect combination of very nice visual appeal and a crisply-penned seldom-seen universal inscription, sure to appeal to all diehard Elvis collectors. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
