Fountain pen signature, “Amelia Earhart,” on a pink 3.5 x 2 slip. In fine condition, with a bit of edge toning and a rusty paperclip impression at the top of the slip. Accompanied by a 1934 letter of provenance from Harry Smith, Earhart’s secretary, that reads in part: “Miss Earhart has given me her autograph to send you as recently requested. Miss Earhart is anxious to know about the Penquin Club—what is the purpose of the Club; who is eligible to join; and how the securing of her autograph will elevate your rank.” The letter rates very good with paper clip impressions, rust stains, and wrinkles. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
