Partly printed DS, filled out in Hancock’s hand and signed in the body “John Hancock,” one page, 9 x 4.5, July 29, 1767. A bill of lading for a brig in Boston Harbor. In part: “Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and well Condition’d, by John Hancock, and in and upon the good Brig called the Harrison whereof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, Nath’l Byfield Lyde and now riding at Anchor in the Harbour of Boston and by God’s Grace bound for London to say, Two hundred fifty three casks of oyle…& six thousand white oak barrel staves…being mark’d and number’d as in the Margin, and are to be deliver’d in the like good Order.” In fine condition, with a rough left edge and light overall toning. More than 60 words in Hancock’s hand. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
