Intimidating vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo of the rather sour-looking actress, no dount one of her parts as an angry matriarch, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Sincerely, Pauline Frederick.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of April 24, 1937, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with a few scattered light surface creases and some light contrast to inscription. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
