American evangelist and publisher (1837–1899) who founded the Moody Church, Northfield School and Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts. Purple fountain pen signature, "D. L. Moody. Isa. 41–10 & 13," on an off-white 3.5 x 1.75 partly-lined sheet. Matted with a colorized image to an overall size of 8 x 12. In very good condition with creasing, a vertical fold passing through the "d" in his last name, scattered soiling, and bleeding of the ink in a few spots. RRAuction COA.
