Hardcover with dustjacket, 4.75 x 7.5, 69 pages. Signed on the first free end page in fountain pen, 'Greetings from Labrador-Wilfred T. Grenfell,' adding a nice landscape sketch with a wolf howling at the moon; and a sketch of a ship in the frigid sea on a 6 x 9.25 page, signed and inscribed, 'Greetings from Labrador—by Wilfred T. Grenfell to Rex Auchincloss—1933.' The book presents in fine condition, with some light wear and notations to dustjacket and mild page toning; the sketch, on a leaf removed from the book Forty Years for Labrador, rates good with heavy singe marks and chipping, affecting portions of the sketch.
