Unique hand-colored vintage matte-finish 9.25 x 7.75 Harris & Ewing portrait of TR sitting at a desk, reading papers, signed and inscribed in fountain pen 'To Francis J. Heney with the heartiest good wishes and regards of Theodore Roosevelt, February 18th 1909.' In fine condition, with trimmed edges, a uniform shade of overall toning, and a couple of trivial surface flaws. Believed to be the only ‘color’ photo of Roosevelt as president!
