AQSs from both Grover and Frances Cleveland on an off-white 7 x 4.5 sheet of Edgemere stationery. Grover, as president-elect, quotes The Merry Wives of Windsor: '’Tis not good that children should know any wickedness’ Grover Cleveland, Lakewood, N.J., Dec. 6, 1892,' while Frances adds a quote from Titus Andronicus underneath, '’Some say that ravens foster forlorn children’ Frances F. Cleveland, Lakewood, N.J. Dec. 6, 1892.' In fine condition, with a central vertical fold, affecting a single letter of both signatures, and a bit of mild light toning and soiling. Decidedly unusual literary association! Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
