Partly-printed vellum DS, signed 'James Madison' as president and 'Jas. Monroe' as secretary of state, one page, 14.75 x 8.75, December 30, 1811. President Madison grants a tract of land near Stuebenville, Ohio, to Presley Trumbo. Signed at the conclusion by Madison, and countersigned by Secretary of State James Monroe. Central horizontal and vertical storage fold, two other vertical creases, scattered toning and soiling, and scoring under seal, otherwise very good condition.
