Description

Audie Murphy

American soldier and actor (1924–1971) whose heroism during World War II earned him the Medal of Honor. After the war, Murphy parlayed his popularity, small-town charm, and baby-faced good looks into a respectable film career, appearing in a string of westerns and war dramas. He died in a plane crash at the age of 46. Terrific vintage 8 x 9 magazine photo of the young Murphy, nicely signed in fountain pen above his white pre-printed signature. Matted to an overall size of 11 x 16. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
