Two ALSs, each signed “Charles,” one is one page both sides and dated September 26, 1956, the other is two pages on two adjoined sheets, dated August 25, 1969, both written to Ken, both regarding cars. One reads, in part: “I don’t know what I said-probably that if I had any sense I’d sell the Bugatti and retire.” The other letter reads, in part: “I’d convinced myself I should never own a Bug again. However mine used to balk due to sillier things than jammed electrodes-like a lady bug in the gas line.” Toning to one edge of earlier letter, otherwise fine condition. Quite scarce in handwritten letters. RRAuction COA.
