Deceased Basketball Hall of Famer who was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference team selection at the University of Kansas. Under Hall of Fame Head Coach “Phog” Allen, Endacott led the team to two national titles and the first ever Missouri Valley Conference undefeated record. Glossy 10 x 8 photo of the 1923 National Champion Kansas University basketball team, signed in black felt tip; and a one page TLS, 7.25 x 10.5, dated February 13, 1968. Endacott references the photo writing: “You will note in the identifications at the bottom of the picture that Dr. Naismith, the inventor of basketball is right behind me.” In fine condition, with a few light surface marks to photo, and a mild block of toning to text of letter.
