Exceedingly scarce Ellen Wilson signature

First wife of Woodrow Wilson. She died on August 6, 1914, while Wilson was in office, and thus served as First Lady for less than two years. Woodrow Wilson married Edith Bolling Galt in the following year. Very rare ink signature, “Ellen A. Wilson,” on a light gray 4.75 x 3.25 card, embossed at the top, “Princeton, New Jersey.” In fine condition, with small mounting remnants on reverse. A crisp and well-preserved example, just the third one we have offered, Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
