Uncommon Taylor free frank to a Philadelphia hardware store

Free franked mailing envelope, 5.5 x 3.25, addressed in another hand to “Messrs. Keaton & Deuckler, Hardware Merchants, 34 Commerce St., Philadelphia, Penn,” and franked along the top edge, “Z. Taylor.” Envelope also bears a “Free” stamp and partial Washington, D.C., postmark. In very good condition, with partial separation to bottom edge of back of envelope, two complete separations to back panel, and scattered toning and soiling. Taylor free franks are seldom seen at auction as he served as president for only 16 months. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
