Matte-finish 4 x 6 studio photo of a well-dressed Rickey as an executive, signed and inscribed in fountain pen 'To Jimmy Wiggins, with best wishes from—Branch Rickey.' A George Brace photo credit stamping appears on the reverse. In fine condition, with a couple of creases along the right side of the photo. After a mediocre career as a player and manager, Rickey spent half a century in the front office as baseball’s greatest visionary executive, including being the impetus behind breaking baseball’s color barrier.
