Letter to publisher Gustave Heinze, in full (translated): “Would you be kind enough to let me know if my three volumes ‘à travers chants,’ ‘les grotesques de la musique,’ and the ‘soirées de l’orchestre’ are published. I saw the one ‘à travers chants,’ but I don’t know anything about the others, and Mr. Pohl to whom I have written three times did not deign to reply. Be kind enough to send me a copy of the published volumes. I will be very grateful.” Small separations along central horizontal and vertical folds, a mild shade of toning over text and signature from previous display, and some light creases, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Berlioz’s hand. Pohl was a critic and writer as well as a translator.
