TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, December 28, 1940. Ferber responds to a fan’s request. In part: “Please forgive me for being so late in answering your very nice letter. My one excuse is that in these past weeks I have been caught in the awkward position of having one foot in Connecticut and one in New York. I shall be glad to autograph Jennie Kaufman’s book….” In fine condition, with intersecting off-center folds, light creasing, and a hint of toning. RRAuction COA.
