Vintage matte-finish 10 x 8 signed photo of the Mercury 7 astronauts with a model of a rocket, signed in various inks in the lower border, all signing with their less common ‘formal’ signatures: “Alan B. Shepard, Jr.,” “John H. Glenn, Jr.,” “Virgil I. Grissom,” “M. Scott Carpenter,” “Walter M. Schirra, Jr.,” “Donald K. Slayton,” and “Leroy G. Cooper.” Slayton’s signature a few shade light but completely legible, a few faint surface creases, lightly trimmed bottom edge, and faint impressions and surface loss at the top right corner from a discreetly removed inscription, otherwise fine condition.
