Prolific and prodigiously talented French Romantic composer (1835–1921) of such timeless works as the ‘Organ’ Symphony, the opera ‘Samson et Dalila,’ and the perennial concert favorite ‘Carnival of the Animals.’ Self-contained partial DS, signed “C. Saint-Saens,” one page, 8 x 3.25, no date. What appears to be the top of a legal document. In full: “In Witness Whereof, the parties hereto have hereunto set their hands the day and year first above written. Signed in the presence of.” In fine condition, with faint edge toning and a rough bottom edge. RRAuction COA.
