In part: “Will you pardon my tardy acknowledgement of your note and the photographs. I was ill in the hands of a trained nurse…I hope to hear my little house is finished so that we may leave here about the first of October.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original black-bordered free franked mailing envelope, addressed in Garfield’s hand, and franked along the top, “Lucretia R.
