Too busy for correspondence, Coolidge sends a White House card

Signed White House card, signed in black ink, “Calvin Coolidge.” In fine condition, with a uniform shade of mild toning. Accompanied by a January 8, 1929, TLS from Coolidge’s secretary to Reverend Edgar Thomas Read, who had asked for a letter from Coolidge for his son. In part: “We are quite overwhelmed with requests of this kind…I am sure you will understand and that the boy will be satisfied with the enclosed autographed card.” Also accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
