Printed speech in booklet form, “Address of the President of the United States, Delivered at a Joint Session of the Two Houses of Congress, April 2, 1917,” 6 x 9, ten pages, issued by the Government Printing Office. Historic speech in which Wilson asks the US Congress for a declaration of war on Germany. Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Wilson. Two horizontal folds, partial separation to front cover, mounting remnants to back cover, and mild handling wear, otherwise fine condition. One of Wilson’s, and America’s, most important speeches.
