Singer-songwriter, guitarist and musician (1947-1991), best remembered for his powerful singing voice which belied his small stature and for his aggressive guitar playing in the rock groups the Small Faces and Humble Pie. Original handwritten lyrics, written out by Marriott, to the song ‘My Vagabond Lady,’ on an off-white 8 x 13 lightly-lined sheet. Marriott pens 11 lines of lyrics and the chorus to the song. In part: “Honey—and your cousins, with all your money, can’t play the dozens, I took it, must have been crazy, before I took a look, at the Vagabond Lady.” In very good condition, with scattered light creasing, as well as some scattered light toning and staining.
