ALS signed “G.,” two pages, 8.5 x 11, September 4, 1966. Letter to her sister Anita finalizing travel plans and other items of business. In part: “To London from N.Y. is $300.00 for two weeks—or three if you wish. My plan is to be in London for 2 weeks. It will be good to talk with you and Dave. I go this coming Tuesday to have my show in Albuquerque at the University—it opened night of the 8th–Thursday. Then all that is finished when the paintings return to me…I plan to return to N.Y. on Oct. 18—and will stay over a day or so if necessary.” O’Keeffe’s short postscript reads, “I will try to visit you some time when you are in your new house and we can go over the paintings then—sort out any you do not want.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in O’Keeffe’s hand. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
