ALS in French, one page, 3.5 x 2, May 1894. Letter to an unidentified recipient. In part (translated): “An autograph? Very freely, dear Sir. You wish to accept it with high esteem…who approves it for the unknown friend…for an old French author.” In fine condition, with a mild shade of toning and mounting remnants to reverse.
