Description

Laura Ingalls

American aviatrix (1901–1967) who set a number of notable aviation records in the 1930s. Despite the support of such notables as Eddie Rickenbacker, Ingalls was never pardoned. Two flight-flown air mail envelopes, 6.5 x 3.5, both carried by Ingalls with one bearing a typed notation that it was carried on her transcontinental flight from California to New Jersey. Both signed in ink along the left edge. In fine condition, with faint toning and light soiling. RRAuction COA.
