“The Visitor ... is better worth the cost than almost any other paper I know”

ALS signed “Danl. Webster,” one page, 7 x 8.75, January 31, 1850. Webster writes to J. B. Brown. In part: “There is no publication which I pay for more cheerfully than the Visitor. It is better worth the cost, than almost any paper I know. I enclose $6 & am sorry the small bill is not the five of some northern bank.” Intersecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature, a few small fold separations, some light spots, and a touch of minor wrinkling, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
