Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware (1734–1817) who later served as a Revolutionary War officer, delegate to the Continental Congress, and Governor of Pennsylvania. Partly-printed DS, signed “Tho M:Kean,” one page, 21 x 11.5, May 26, 1806. A grant for a 541 acre tract of land called “Crete” issued to Robert Blackwell. Signed in the upper left corner by McKean. In fine, bright condition, with intersecting folds, and some mild wrinkling and toning. The embossed paper seal is crisp and intact. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
