Description

Jazz great’s original music manuscript obtained from his estate

Saxophonist, band leader, and composer (1926–1967) whose brilliant improvisatory skills and experimental spirit made him one of the most influential and highly regarded musicians in the history of jazz. In good condition, with paper loss to bottom portion of page, scattered creasing and wrinkling, paper loss to top edge, some light soiling and several edge tears. Document was originally acquired from Guernsey’s February 2005 Jazz Auction. RRAuction COA.
