Two items: TLS, one page, 8.25 x 10.75, Pittsburgh Sun Telegraph letterhead, July 3, 1935. Gibbons mentions enjoying “those occasional flying trips to Pittsburgh” and sends his autograph, signed with “one of those temperamental pens.” Also included is a vintage 5.5 x 7.5 cardstock signed portrait of the eye-patched aviator. In overall fine condition, with a line of pin holes to the bottom of the uniformly toned letter and some light soiling to the signed photo. RRAuction COA.
