TLS signed “Ray Clapper,” one page, 6 x 9, Scripps-Howard Newspaper Alliance letterhead, August 17, 1943. Letter of congratulations to Leon Henderson. In part: “Congratulations on joining the ranks of radio commentators…I’m glad now that you are going to get paid for some of it—and I hope paid damn well, as you deserve.” In fine condition, with torn staple holes to top left, vertical crease to left edge, and a bit of light soiling.
