Wizard of Oz soundtrack album signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint on the inside gatefold, “To David from the ‘Cowardly Lion,’ Bert Lahr.” Matted and framed with a color photo of Lahr as the Lion, and four commemorative medallions, to an overall size of 30.25 x 23.25. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the daughter of the original owner, Hollywood’s Tony Thomas. She writes, in part: “My dad interviewed countless Hollywood personalities. He wrote 31 books on Hollywood history…The album you received was autographed to my brother…I’m not sure on how many occasions my dad met Burt [sic] Lahr, but he undoubtedly interviewed him.” In fine condition, with tape repair and paper loss to hinge, small ink notations, and a bit of light edge toning.
