Vintage ballpoint signatures of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts, who adds “The Rolling Stones,” on an off-white 4.5 x 6 lined notebook sheet. Lavishly double suede matted and framed with a scarce original Satanic Majesties Request lenticular album cover, to an overall size of 27 x 21. The record, which is in very fine condition, just like the cover, is included.
Also accompanied by a ticket stub from the Stones’ June 25, 1966, concert at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena, where the signatures were obtained, and ten original color candid snapshot photos of the band walking to and from the stage, taken by the fan the night of the show (the snapshots can all be viewed online by clicking here).
This was the third stop on the Stones’ fifth North American tour, which ran from June to September of 1966. Also accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Slight intersecting folds affecting just a couple letters of signatures, unnoticeable tape marks which have been matted out, and a few negligible wrinkles, otherwise fine condition. Oversized. The striking framed display with the Stones’ iconic 3D album cover adorning the signature of deceased founder, Brian Jones and those of his original bandmates, could easily be the centerpiece of any proud Stones fan’s collection. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
