The ill-fated Columbia crew

The Space Shuttle Columbia disaster occurred on February 1, 2003, when the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated over Palestine, Texas during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, with the loss of all seven crew members, shortly before it was scheduled to conclude its 28th mission. Seven color 8 x 10 photos, consisting of six NASA portraits and one glossy portrait, each signed and inscribed in black felt tip or gold ink by the respective Columbia astronaut pictured. Signers are: Rick Husband, Willie McCool, Michael Anderson, Kalpana Chawla, David Brown, Laurel Clark, and Ilan Ramon. In fine condition. A fine grouping and fitting tribute to these American heroes. Pre-certified Scott Cornish and RRAuction COA.
