Representative and Senator from Kentucky and was the 14th Vice President of the United States, to date the youngest vice president in U.S. history. Following the outbreak of the American Civil War, he served in the Confederate States Army as a general. Ink signature, “Yours truly, John C. Breckenridge,” on an off-white 2.75 x 1 clipped slip.
