The ‘Duke of Tralee’ was the first catcher elected to the Hall of Fame (in 1945, a year after his death) Scarce fountain pen signature, “Roger P. Bresnehan,” on an off-white 4 x 1 slip clipped from the closing of a document, also signed by Gertrude Bresnehan, and affixed to a slightly larger slip. In very good condition, with scattered light staining and rippling from adhesive on the reverse. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
