Ink signature, “Winston S. Churchill,” on an off-white 8 x 2 irregularly clipped slip taken from a larger document dated August, 1918 when Churchill was Minister of Munitions. The reverse of the document refers to the repatriation of imprisoned Allied soldiers during World War One. Countersigned by Viscount Peel. Light pencil initials under signature, several vertical folds, one through first letter of signature, and an ink notation under signature, which could be matted out, otherwise fine condition.
