Description

The Bambino and the man who brought him to the Yankees

Vintage fountain pen signature, “Babe Ruth,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card, clipped from a larger dinner program. Also signed by the Yankees’ owner T.L. Huston who, with co-owner Jacob Ruppert, purchased Ruth from the Red Sox in 1919. Light bisecting vertical crease through one letter of signature, mild uniform toning, and a few spots and light soiling, otherwise fine condition. It is exceedingly rare to find these two figures on the same item. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
