Boldly signed partial manuscript DS, one page, 8.5 x 6, April 10, 1784. Lower self-contained portion of a larger document, boldly signed by Hancock as governor of Massachusetts, and countersigned by John Avery. In very good condition, with moderate bisecting vertical fold, affecting just a small portion of first letter of signature, several other vertical folds and wrinkles, a bit of mild toning, and some soiling to right edge. Hancock’s recognizable signature remains as bold as the day he signed this document, and measures a little over four inches in length. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
