Vintage ballpoint signature, “Sincerely, Babe Ruth,” on a light green 3.25 x 2 clipped album page affixed to a 6 x 4.25 light green album page. Page is still contained in the original spiral-bound autograph album. According to the signature’s original recipient, Babe Ruth came to South Bend, Indiana either to speak at Notre Dame or participate in a ball game. His father took him to the house Ruth was staying at where the Babe signed an autograph book and a mitt for the star-struck child. In fine condition, with small pieces of old tape to edges and an area of paper abrasion passing through the top of the “S” in “Sincerely.” Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
