Partially printed souvenir production sheet for the 1965 film Girls, Girls, Girls, directed by Academy Award winner Norman Taurog, 9 x 12.25, signed in black ballpoint, “Elvis Presley.” The sheet has been filled out in another hand and has also been signed on the reverse by Joe Esposito (an original member of the “Memphis Mafia” and Presley’s chief road manager). In fine condition. This was the third pairing of Presley and director Norman Taurog, who would direct Presley in nine films: G. I. Blues, Blue Hawaii, Girls! Girls! Girls!, It Happened at the World's Fair, Tickle Me, Spinout, Double Trouble, Speedway, and Live a Little, Love a Little. Although some were better than others (and some were almost identical), Taurog ensured that the films had pace, the comedy was delivered well and the songs well executed. This took Taurog to the end of his career; one year after completing Live a Little, Love a Little, he went blind. This film was the only one of Elvis’ feature films to be nominated for a Golden Globe award. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
