Apollo 11 “Prime Recovery Ship” postal cover, postmarked aboard the prime recovery aircraft carrier “Hornet” during its recovery of the astronauts in the Pacific, signed shortly thereafter in blue ballpoint by Armstrong. Removably presented on a color 8.5 x 11 informational sheet. Light creases to upper left corner, otherwise fine condition. Armstrong ceased signing covers of any kind in 1971; hence, signed covers represent one of his rarest and most desirable signature formats.
