This glossy, 3.25 x 4.5, deckle-edged photograph pictures Rocky Marciano posing outdoors with two children. The hard-fisted boxer signed and inscribed the piece on the back in blue ballpoint to read, “Best of luck to both you ‘Boyce’ kids, (signed) Rocky Marciano.” (Incidentally, the image side bears a secretarial signature and sentiment.) The candid photograph exhibits fine condition with negligible surface impressions from the signature visible on the image, as well as some scattered, but light surface marks and border toning at this same location.
