Unique presentation on a heavyweight tan 10.75 x 13.75 card, inscribed in an unknown hand to Argentine film director [Carlos] Borcosque on behalf of Sintonia, a 1930s fan magazine, and signed in ink by dozens of the most prominent stars of the day. Among the signers: Jean Harlow, Will Rogers, Clara Bow, Spencer Tracy, Gary Cooper, Stan Laurel, Marlene Dietrich, Claudette Colbert, Colleen Moore, Loretta Young, Buddy Rogers, Kay Francis, Elissa Landi, Clive Brook, and a very young Jackie Cooper. Curiously (but probably to add some more star appeal) other names have been added by studio secretaries; these names include Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Janet Gaynor, Joan Bennett, Buster Crabbe, Sylvia Sidney, Wallace Beery, Ruth Chatterton, Marie Dressler, Paul Muni, John Boles, Warner Baxter, Miriam Hopkins, Lewis Stone, and Richard Barthelmess; there are also several unidentified names. In very good condition, with a few signatures lightly overlapping, scattered light toning and soiling, a few small stains (water staining to Harlow’s last name, resulting in very slight bleeding of ink, not affecting legibility in the least), and light creases and small losses at corners (spot of skinning affecting first letter of Barthelmess’s signature).
