Description

Thomas Edison

ANS in pencil signed “Edison,” one page at the foot of a note written to him by [Jaffrey P.] Buchanan, manager of his record disc division, on a lightly lined 8.25 x 10.75 sheet, Buchanan’s note dated February 12, 1925. Buchanan writes to Edison: “I spoke to Parks today and told him what you said about inspecting the varnish making. He says he has very little to do right now on Rubber Plant, and will start inspecting varnish making Monday next week. Is this as you wish it?” Edison responds: “Tell Parks to thoroughly investigate the whole thing & get test checks—When he has it pat & the man does good work we will make the change I spoke to you about.” Allover toning, light paperclip stain, and small loss at lower right corner (near but not touching signature), otherwise fine condition.
