Partly printed unsigned DS filled out in Hancock’s hand (and including his surname “Hancock”), one page, 9 x 4.5, March 27, 1762. A bill of lading. In part: “Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and well Condition’d, by Thomas Hancock ... in and upon the good Ship called the Charming Molly whereof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, Alexander Mayor and now riding at Anchor in the Harbour of Boston and by God’s Grace bound for Chignecto to say, Seventy five barrels of Pork, Twenty Five Firkins of Butter, Six Hogshead of Beans, & Five Tierces of Rice ... being mark’d and number’d as in the Margin, and are to be deliver’d in the like good Order.” In fine condition, with a rough left edge and light toning. More than 50 words in Hancock’s hand. RRAuction COA.
