Partly printed DS as President, one page on vellum, 12.25 x 17, November 1, 1813. A grant for a parcel of land under the provisions of “An Act to enable the Officers and Soldiers of the Virginia Line on Continental Establishment to obtain titles to certain lands lying north west of the River Ohio, between the little Miami and Sciota,” issued to the assignees of George Lee Turberville, “a Captain for the War and for eleven months more than six years, and by John C. Carter, a Captain for ten months more than seven years.” The embossed paper seal remains intact at lower left. Intersecting folds with light associated toning, and a few mild wrinkles, no faults affecting the clear signature, otherwise fine, bright condition. JSA/John Reznikoff Auction LOA and RRAuction COA.
