Highly regarded American guitarist and composer (1943–1981), a member of the original Butterfield Blues Band and a frequent collaborator with Bob Dylan, who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 37. In 2002 he was ranked as No. 22 in Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” Scarce DS, signed in ballpoint “Michael Bloomfield,” one page, 8.5 x 11, May 13, 1973. A contract for a performance by Bloomfield and Mark Naftalin at the Gardens Auditorium in Vancouver on May 31, 1973, for which the duo would be paid $3,000 plus 30% of the GDR over $14,000. In fine condition overall, with scattered smudging and handling wear, not affecting signature. Quite elusive in any form! RRAuction COA.
