Description

The Jackson 5 get set to explode in America

DS, one page both sides, 8.25 x 13, May 21, 1970. An exclusive two-year agency contract between the Jackson 5 and the William Morris Agency. Signed at the conclusion by Michael Jackson (then just 12 years old), Marlon Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Tito Jackson, Sigmund (better known as “Jackie”) Jackson, each adding his age, and also signed by their father, Joe Jackson. During their six-year Motown tenure, The Jackson 5 were one of the biggest pop phenomena of the 1970s, and the band helped launch the solo careers of lead singers Jermaine and Michael, the latter parlaying his early Motown solo fame to even greater success as an adult artist. Double matted and framed with a group photo to an overall size of 23.5 x 19.5. In fine condition, with punch and staple holes to top edge, expected folds, and Tito’s signature light but legible.
