Three items: vintage glossy 7.25 x 9.25 MGM publicity photo, signed in fountain pen; and two ALSs, on one page both sides, and one three sides of two adjoining pages, both undated and both signed “Ruth.” One reads, in part: “Forgive my delay in answering your nice letter—I have been ill for over a week—a wretched attack of ptomaine poisoning & I haven’t had energy enough to do anything…The cast remains almost intact.” In very good condition, with scattered creases, trimmed edges, and surface marks to photo, and expected folds and toning to letters.
